Jarratt, Drewryville, Dies in Hospital DREWRYVILLE - Waverly Richard Jarratt, 41, died yesterday afternoon in Medical College of Virginia Hospital, Richmond, after a short illness. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at the W.J.M. Holland Funeral Home, Franklin, by the Rev. Dalphon J. Thompson, pastor of Adams Grove Baptist Church. Burial will be in Drewryville Cemetery. A member of Adams Grove Baptist Church he was the son of the late Waverly Leonard Jarratt and Mrs. Virgie Harris Jarratt of Southampton County. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Fannie Mae Wells Jarratt of the home; four sons, Waverly R. Jarratt, Jr., Edward Carroll Jarratt, William Thomas Jarratt, and Benjamin Franklin Jarratt, all of Drewryville; a daughter, Virgie Mae Jarratt of Drewryville; six sisters, Mrs. Bessie Jarratt, Mrs. Percy Joyner and Mrs. A.M. Whitby, all of Capron, Mrs. Doyle Shealey, Mrs. William Carter and Mrs. Lewis Wajciechowshi, all of Richmond; four brothers, John Jarratt of Drewryville, Leonard Jarratt Jr. and W.N. Jarratt of Richmond and Herbert Jarratt of Petersburg. ****************************************************************************** W. R. Jarratt DREWRYVILLE - Waverly Richard Jarratt, 41, husband of Mrs. Fannie Mae Wells Jarratt, died Thursday in Medical College of Virginia Hospital after a short illness. He was a son of the late Waverly Leonard Jarratt and Mrs. Virgie Harris Jarratt of Southampton County. He was a member of Adam's Grove Baptist Church. The body was taken to W.J.M.
