Rebecca "Becky" (Mrs. Samuel) KITCHEN, d. Feb 1874, age circa 99, "The Daily State Journal" (Richmond, VA), Feb. 14, 1874 (Vol. 6, No. 83), p. 1, col. 2 The given age is obviously suspect. Two elderly ladies named Rebecca KITCHEN appear in the 1850 Census, in Nottoway Parish, Southampton Co. age 70, in the household (#379) of David & Nancy KITCHEN. Transcript by Col. P.J. There is no elderly BEATON female in the 1850 or 1870 Census.
