Kitchen III, 8, was held Saturday at 2 p.m. in Wright Funeral Home by the Revs. R.E. Brittle and Walter Snowa. Burial was in Southampton Memorial Park. Kitchen died Thursday in Medical College of Virginia. A native of Franklin, he was the son of David R. and Mrs. Rebecca H. Kitchen. He was a member of Hunterdale United Church of Christ and a third-grader at Southampton Academy. He was a member of Cub Scout Pack 27, Den 2. Other survivors include a sister, Miss Melissa Kitchen of the home; paternal grandmothers, Mrs. Doris C. Kitchen of Courtland; and maternal grandmother, Mrs. Mary J. Hasty of Franklin.
