Kitchen, age 64, of Como, N.C., died in a Norfolk hospital Sunday night after a short illness. Mr. Kitchen is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lulu Ann Kitchen; two daughters, Mrs. J.H. Stephenson of Handsom, and Mrs. R.R. Taylor of Winton, N.C.; two sons, Raymond and Donald Kitchen, of Como; three sisters, Mrs. Jim Bryant and Mrs. Richard Ferguson of Newsoms and Mrs. William Barnes of Boykins. Funeral services were held at the grave in Newsoms Cemetery Tuesday afternoon conducted by Rev. L.E. Dailey of Newsoms, assisted by Rev. Mr. Robinson and G.C. Picot of Como. Active pallbearers were: Cyrus M. Howell, R.A. Majette, W.J. Gatling, J.A. Gatling, D.E. Howell, N.G. Wise and W.J. Hill.
