Donald R. McNair. Burial is to be at the church cemetery, with Purviance Funeral Home of Wakefield in charge. She died in a Suffolk hospital Tuesday after a long illness. A native of Southampton County, Mrs. Kitchen worked for a packing company at Courtland and was a member of Tucker Swamp Baptist Church, where she taught in the nursery department. She was a daughter of William T. and Mrs. Martha Cook Joyner. Surviving are her husband, Willie L. Kitchen of Zuni; three sons, Billy L. Kitchen of Courtland, James E. Kitchen of Smithfield and D. Wayne Kitchen of Zuni; four sisters, Mrs. Lillie M. Felts of Ivor, Mrs. K.E. Bailey, Jr. of Wakefield, Mrs. R.B. Warner of Hopewell and Mrs. M.H. Holt of Sedley; three brothers, W. Floyd Joyner of Zuni, Thomas L. Joyner of Richmond and William T. Joyner Jr. of Ivor; and eight grandchildren. ****************************************************************************** LILLIAN ANN JOYNER KITCHEN Funeral Service Thursday for Mrs. Kitchen Mrs. Lillian Joyner Kitchen, 52, of Zuni, died in a Suffolk hospital Tuesday after a long illness. A native of Southampton County, she worked for Beale Packing Co, Courtland and was a member of Tucker Swamp Baptist Church, and taught its nursery department.
