All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ MARY BRADSHAW KEETER Mrs. Mary Bradshaw Keeter, wife of A.O.* Keeter and the daughter of the late Amos F. and Ophelia Bradshaw died suddenly Monday morning at her home in West Franklin after an illness of several months. She was 51 years of age and is survived by her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Mack Perry, Misses Thelma and Hazel Keeter; three sons, Philip, Charlie and Marvin Keeter, two step-sons, W.F. and E.A. Keeter, and eight grandchildren, all of Franklin; four sisters Mrs. Margaret Snipes, Mrs. C.E. Bunn of Franklin, Mrs. W.R. Hayes of Gatesville, N.C., and Mrs. C.E. Taylor of Portsmouth; two brothers, W.M. Bradshaw and Elmer A. Bradshaw of Franklin. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday morning at 11 o’clock at Beaver Dam Baptist Church by her Pastor, Rev. R.D. Stephenson of the Franklin Baptist Church. The choir sang two of her favorite hymns, "In the Sweet Bye and Bye" and "Rock of Ages." There were many beautiful floral designs, a token of the love and respect from friends and relatives. The body bearers were: W.H. Lankford, R.C. Branch, Percy Drake, Frank Howell, N.L. Carr, Jesse Weede, W.H. Jones, and W.J. Bradshaw. Interment was made in the family plot at Beaver Dam Church.
