Kello, one of the oldest members of Applewhite’s church was found dead in his bed Tuesday morning*. He had been sick for some time but was supposed to be better. The funeral services were conducted by the pastor, Rev. L.J. Phaup, assisted by the Masonic order of which he had long been a member. The interment was in the family graveyard near the home. A good man has entered into rest. Called from "labor to reward." James Richard KELLO, Sr., Confederate veteran, d. 18* May 1908, age 72, interred in KELLO family cemetery*, Indian Town Rd.
