Kello was conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. in W.J.M. Holland & Sons Funeral Home by the Rev. William A. Grissom. Burial was in Poplar Spring Cemetery. Pallbearers were Francis Joyner, Phillip Raveling, Preston R. Beale, J.C. Griffin, Earl Kello, Raymond Parker, Earl Elsworth and J.C. Joyner. Mrs. Kello, 50, died Thursday night in a Norfolk hospital. She was the wife of Samuel Thomas Kello and a daughter of William Joseph and Mrs. Cora Lee Cutchin Umphlett. A native of Southampton County, she had lived in the Windsor community 30 years. She was a member of Windsor Christian Church. Surviving, besides her husband, are two daughters, Mrs. Guy Hardy of Windsor and Mrs. Richmond Hill of Norfolk; four sisters, Mrs. Leland Story and Mrs. Luther Barton of Franklin, Mrs. ----, Mrs. Oscar Porter of Portsmouth, and Mrs. R.S. McClenny of Chester. Two brothers, Carrol Umphlett of Richmond and William J. Umphlett of Norfolk; and four grandchildren. Jennie (UMPHLETT; Mrs. Samuel T.
