Kelley, 80, died Friday afternoon in the home of his daughter, Mrs. Rowland Vaughan. He was the husband of the late Mrs. Pattie Hart Kelley and a son of Caleb and Mrs. Caroline Bunch Kelley. A native of Gates County, N.C., he lived in Capron 60 years. He was a member of the Capron Methodist Church. Besides his daughter, he is survived by a son, Robert R. Kelley of Capron; two brothers, Birley Kelley and Ervin Kelley of Hobbsville, Mrs. Bertley Cofield of Gliden, N.C., and Mrs. Pearl Dean of Norfolk; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A funeral service was conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. in Capron Cemetery by the Rev. J.S. Peebles of Capron Methodist Church, the Rev. Dolphine Thompson of Drewryville Methodist Church, and the Rev. R.H. Marks, retired minister of Capron. James L.
