Kello, wife of the late J.R. Kello, died at her home in the Applewhite community Sunday, September 16, after a long illness. She was 76 years of age. The funeral services were held at the home Tuesday afternoon with burial in the family plot nearby. Rev. C.H. Fielding of the Applewhite Methodist Church, of which Mrs. Kello was a faithful member, officiated. "Rock of Ages" and "What a Friend We Have in Jesus" were sung during the services. Surviving her are five children: Mrs. W.B. Simmons, Sr., of Sebrell, J.G. Kello of Bowers Hill, Richard Kello, S.T. Kello and Miss Mattie O. Kello of the community; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Mrs. Kello was a half sister of the late C.C. Vaughan, Sr., of Franklin. Mariah Thomas (VAUGHAN; Mrs. J.
