PATTIE HART KELLY Mrs. Pattie Hart Kelly, 59, a lifelong resident of Capron and the community died Sunday morning, July 8, at her home after an illness of many months. She was the wife of J.L. Kelly and the daughter of the late Eugene A. and Pauline Wrenn Hart of the county, and a faithful member of the Capron Methodist Church, attending the services regularly until her health failed. She bore her intense suffering bravely. Her life was one of unselfish service for others, always helping those in need. Surely she heard the master say: "Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these...ye have done it unto me; enter thou into the joys of thy Lord." Besides her husband she is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Roland B. Vaughn of Capron, and one son, Robert R. Kelly, of Williamsburg; five grandchildren; and one sister, Miss A. Louise Hart of Capron. Funeral services, which were held Tuesday afternoon, July 10, were conducted by her pastor Rev. L.O. Wright; a former pastor, Rev. R.H. Marks; and Rev. H.B. Jennings of the Capron Baptist Church. The hymns, "Sometime We'll Understand" and "Good Night", were sung by a few members of the choir. There were many beautiful floral tributes. The pallbearers were Ira H. Barham, R.C. Fox, H.W. Francis, Dr. J.J. Grizzard, Dr. B.A. Pope, Jr., Dr. E.J. Pope, R.B. Starke and Edward M. Trice. Pattie (HART; Mrs. James L.)
