KELLO Samuel Tom Kello, Sr., 75, a resident of Windsor for the past 16 years but a native of Southampton County, died in Louise Obici Memorial Hospital, Suffolk, on Friday morning, October 29, after an illness of a few weeks. Mr. Kello was the husband of the late Mattie Bell Kello and the son of the late James Richard and Maria Thomas Vaughan Kello of this county. He was a member of the Applewhite Methodist Church. Surviving him are two sons, Samuel T. Kello, Jr., and Joseph Earl Kello, both of Windsor; six grandchildren; and one sister, Miss Mattie O. Kello of Courtland. Funeral services were conducted at the old Kello home place near Courtland on Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with interment in the Kello family cemetery. Officiating were Rev. J.T. Cassell, pastor of the Capron Methodist Church, and Rev. B.A. Riddle, pastor of the Windsor Baptist Church. Pallbearers were Ira Holt Barham, Emory Eley, Earl Ellsworth, Lee Felts, Walter Joyner, Oscar Porter, W.H. Story and Joe Vick. ****************************************************************************** SAMUEL THOMAS KELLO Suffolk, Oct. 31 - Funeral services for Samuel Tom Kello, who died Thursday, were conducted at the homeplace near Courtland this afternoon at 2 o'clock by the Rev. J.T. Cassell and the Rev. B.A. Riddle. Burial was in the family cemetery. Pallbearers were Ira H. Barham, Emory Eley, Walter Joyner, Joe Vick, Lee Felts, Earl Ellsworth, W.H. Story and Oscar Porter. Friends of the family served as honorary pallbearers.
