[Correspondence of the Richmond Dispatch.] JUNE 10, 1884. Dr. S. B. Kello, Jr., a prominent young physician and most estimable citizen of Southampton county, died at his father's residence, near Berlin, at an early hour this morning. His disease was acute ty- phoid fever, which the best medical skill could not check. He was a young man of sterling qualities of character, and had the promise of a brilliant future. Rev. W. T. Roberts, assistant rector of St. Paul's church, in this city, will be or- dained to the ministry on Monday next. The services will take place at St. Paul's church, and Bishop Whittle will officiate. Mr. John Taliaferro, a well-known young citizen, is critically ill of gastric- fever. It is feared there is little chance of his recovery. The Common Council meets to-night to receive reports of estimates of expendi- tures for the next fiscal year. Upon these estimates the tax bill will be based.
