Butler Keen a well-known resident of the South Quay community, died late Wednesday night, October 12, at her home after a short illness. She was the widow of Joseph Richard Keen, and a daughter of the late David L. and Missouri Edwards Butler of Isle of Wight County. She was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church. Surviving are one son, Joseph Benjamin Keen of Holland; a daughter, Mrs. Tena Saunders of Carrsville; two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and one half-sister, Mrs. Linwood Howell of Franklin. Funeral services will be held Friday at 4 p.m. at the graveside in Poplar Spring Cemetery, Franklin, with Rev. Edwin C. Thornton, pastor of Beaver Dam Baptist Church, officiating. Elizabeth M.
