LELIA M. KNIGHT

   COURTLAND - Mrs. Lelia M. Knight, age 76, former resident of Southampton 
County, died at a local hospital in Baltimore Thursday night after a short 
illness.

   She was the widow of Pete E. Knight and daughter of the late Benjamin F. 
and Melissa Pope Bryant of Southampton County.

   Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Joseph H. Miller and Mrs. J. Herbert 
Lyons of Baltimore and five grandchildren.

   A funeral service was held in Armacost Funeral Home, 4600 Liberty Heights 
Ave., Baltimore, Saturday, after which the body was brought to W.J.M. Holland 
and Sons Funeral Home, Franklin, where it remained until Monday and taken to 
Riverside Cemetery Courtland, for another funeral service by the Rev. Byron S. 
Hallstead of Courtland Methodist Church.
