Lowe, 84, the widow of John Ivory Lowe Sr., died Oct. 20, 2000, at the East Pavilion. Mrs. Lowe was a native of Southampton County and was a daughter of the late Thomas and Fannie Bunch Dundalow. She was a member of Hunterdale United Church of Christ. Survivors include two sons, John I. Lowe Jr. and his wife, Betty, and Cecil E. Lowe and his wife, Sylvia, all of Franklin; two sisters, Hazel Pulley of Franklin and Blanche Wells of Smithfield; five grandchildren, Sharon Hill and her husband, Carson, Kenneth Lowe and his wife, Lynette, Michael Lowe, Lori Drake and her husband, Lindy, David Lowe and his wife, Kim; six great- grandchildren, Tiffany Woods, Brittany Lowe, Cecil and Josh Lowe, Arick Hill and Hillary Drake. She was predeceased by two brothers and two sisters, Earl and William Dundalow, Patsy Britt and Lorraine Dunaway. A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Wright Funeral Home with the Rev. James X. Camak officiating. Burial will be in Poplar Spring Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today and suggests that memorial donations be made to Hunterdale United Church of Christ, 741 Hunterdale Road, Franklin, VA 23851.
