JAMES IVEA LOWE, JR.

   James I. Lowe, 72, resident of Sedley and Suffolk, died suddenly in the 
garden of his sister, Mrs. Richard Johnson Tuesday morning near Sedley.

   Mr. Lowe is survived by his wife, Mrs. Martha Lowe; three sons, Dawson, 
Burnley and William Lowe of Suffolk; six daughters, Miss Thelma Lowe, Mrs. 
C.B. Beaton, and Mrs. Joe Snoots of Suffolk: Mrs. W.T. Joyner of Courtland; 
Mrs. Raymond Brock of Windsor, and Mrs. Willie Joyner of Suffolk.

   Funeral services were conducted yesterday (Thursday) afternoon at the 
grave on the Richard Johnson place near Sedley at 3 o’clock by the Rev. J.A. 
Stanfield.
