JAMES HENRY LEE

   FRANKLIN - Funeral services for James Henry Lee, 71, were held Jan. 4 in 
Wright Funeral Home by the Revs. Jeremy Galloway and Ira D. Hudgins.  Burial 
was in Poplar Spring cemetery.

   Lee died, Friday (Jan 2) in Mariah Parham Hospital, Henderson, N.C.

   He was a native of West Point and the husband of Kathleen Jones Lee.  He 
was a retired supervisor from Union Camp and a member of High Street United 
Methodist Church.

   Other survivors include three sisters, Katherine Hooper, Margaret Pertle, 
and Frances Carter of West Point; and one brother Charles A. Lee.
