SAINT LUKE LOWE

   IVOR - St. Luke Lowe, 72, died Saturday night in Obici Memorial Hospital, 
Suffolk.

   A native of Southampton County, he was a son of Benjamin Franklin and Mrs. 
Laura Lowe and the husband of Mrs. Mabel Drewry Lowe.

   He was a member of Ivor Baptist Church and a retired mechanic.

   Besides his wife, he is survived by six daughters, Mrs. Inez L. Holt, Mrs. 
Will Holt Jr., and Mrs. Tommy A. Warren of Ivor, Mrs. W.J. Asbell of Suffolk, 
Mrs. Livey Turner of Norfolk and Mrs. Welton Rousse of Cut Off, La.; a son, 
Haywood G. Lowe of Ivor; three brothers, M.H. Lowe of Zuni, A.H. Lowe of 
Wakefield and McCoy Lowe of Newport News; 27 children.

   The body was taken to Purviance Funeral home, Wakefield.
