Lea, died at the home of her parents in Clay Street Tuesday morning following an illness of a few days. Mr. and Mrs. Lea moved to Franklin about two months ago from Holly Hill, S.C., Mr. Lea being an employee of the Camp Manufacturing Co. Besides her parents she is survived by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J.R. Eagerton of Georgia, besides a number of aunts and uncles. Funeral services were held at Poplar Spring Cemetery Tuesday afternoon at 4:30 conducted by Rev. R.D. Stephenson, assisted by Rev. J. Sutherland-Watt. During the service Mrs. H.G. Cobb sweetly sang "Safe In the Arms of Jesus." The active pallbearers were Clyde H. Eley, Linwood Edwards, Henry Duck, Lloyd A. Darden, R.J. Tucker, Dr. J.C. Rawls, R.I. Beale and J.D. Fowler.
