He was the husband of Mrs. Ella Lee Lowe, and the son of the late John C. and Sarah Gay Lowe, of Isle of Wight County*. He was a member of Beaver Dam Church. Surviving besides his wife are one daughter, Mrs. Charlotte Lowe Turner, of Portsmouth; three grandchildren; one great-grandson; one sister, Mrs. Cephas Mumford, Seaboard, N.C.; and one brother, Sylvanius Lowe, Sedley. Funeral services were held from the Beaver Dam Baptist Church Wednesday at 2 p.m., by the Rev. Edwin C. Thornton, Jr. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Cedric* Lowe, Ned Jones, C.B.
