WILLIAM ANDERSON LEE 

   BOYKINS - A funeral service for William Anderson Lee was conducted Tuesday 
at 2 p.m. in McDowell Funeral Home, Boykins by the Rev. Ben B. Ussery.  Burial 
was in Beechwood Cemetery.

   Pallbearers were Southgate Lee, Marion Lee, Wilmer Lee, Linwood Lee, Lewis 
Knight and James Carter.

   Lee, 89, died Sunday in his home.

   A native of Southampton County*, he was a retired farmer.  He was a member 
of Boykins Baptist Church.

   The son of Joseph and Mrs. Sally Smith Lee he was the husband of Mrs. Lula 
Mae Smith Lee.

   Besides his widow, surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Ralph Daniels of 
Boykins, Mrs. J.C. Long Jr., of Severn, N.C., and Mrs. Lillian Marks of 
Suffolk; three sons, Joseph Anderson Lee of Branchville, Wallace Lee, and 
Frank E. Lee of Boykins; three brothers, Frank N. Lee and Eugene Lee of 
Boykins, and Paul Lee of Roanoke Rapids, N.C.; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-
grandchildren.
