EVIE BAZEMORE LASSITER

   BOYKINS - Funeral services for Evie Bazemore Lassiter, 94, were held 
Saturday in Beechwood cemetery, Boykins by the Rev. G. Durham Ipock.  McDowell 
Funeral Home had charge.

   Lassiter died Thursday in Southampton Memorial Hospital in Franklin.

   She was a native of Bertie County, N.C. and the widow of Clyde Lassiter. 
She was a member of Boykins Baptist Church.

   Survivors include five sons, T.C. Lassiter of Windsor, N.C. and Albert K. 
Lassiter, Turner S. Lassiter, Hassell D. Lassiter, and Roy A. Lassiter of 
Boykins; 14 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
