LILLIE JEAN PERRY BUNN SKINNER LASSITER

   FRANKLIN - A funeral service for Mrs. Lillie Jean Bunn Lassiter was 
conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Franklin Baptist Church by Dr. Ira D. 
Hudgins and the Rev. E.C. Thornton Jr.  Burial was in Poplar Spring Cemetery 
with W.J.M. Holland & Sons Funeral Home in charge.

   Pallbearers were H.S. James Jr., W.C. Duffy, D.D. Clark, W.T. Atkinson, Roy 
A. Ledford, Dr. W.O. Ward, Dr. Gordon Birdsong and J.E. Booth.

   Mrs. Lassiter, 37, died in Southampton Memorial Hospital Thursday morning 
after a long illness.

   A native of Franklin, she was the wife of Thomas C. Lassiter and a daughter 
of the late Mack R. and Mrs. Lillie Keeter Perry and the foster daughter of 
the late Mr. and Mrs. C.E. Bunn of Franklin.

   She was a secretary at Union Camp Corp. several years.

   Besides her husband surviving are a daughter, Miss Beth S. Lassiter of 
Franklin; four brothers, Earl Perry and Mack R. Perry Jr. of Trenton, N.J., 
Thomas L. Perry of Franklin, and James Perry of Knightstown, Pa.; and three 
sisters, Mrs. George Roberts of Trenton, Mrs. Leon Jackson of Portsmouth, and 
Mrs. Lillian D. Forbes of Franklin.
