Born Jan. 1, 1919, she was a daughter of the late Hersey Albert Bolton Sr. and Queenie Porter Bolton and the widow of Marvin Randolph Lassiter Sr. Mrs. Lassiter was a retired machine operator from Aster Nut Products in Boykins and worked for Buck's Supermarket following her retirement. She was a very active member of Boykins Baptist Church until her health declined. Survivors include a daughter, Pat L. Lewis and her husband, Bobby; a son, Marvin Randolph "Buck" Lassiter Jr. and his wife, Jean, all of Boykins; three grandchildren, Gregory Thomas Lassiter and his wife, Susan, of Ahoskie, N.C., Cletis Wilton Lassiter of Boykins, and William Johnson Lewis and his wife, Michelle, of Boykins; and three great-grandchildren, Angela Nicole Lassiter, Garrett Wilton Lassiter and Kelby Brooke Lewis. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Boykins Baptist Church with the Rev. Thomas Caulkins officiating. Burial will be in Beechwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at Wright Funeral Home, Boykins, and suggests memorials be made to Boykins Baptist Church, 32057 Main St., Boykins, or the Boykins Volunteer Fire and Rescue Squad, P.O.
