SOPHIE LASLO

   Mrs. Sophie Laslo, a native of Hungary and a resident of Courtland for a 
number of years, died Tuesday morning in her 55th year at the home of her 
daughter, Mrs. Andrew Sipisczky*, with whom she made her home.  Funeral 
services were conducted at the grave in Riverside Cemetery, Courtland, 
Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, by the Rev. Dr. Elwood Jones, pastor of 
the Franklin Congregational-Christian Church.

   Mrs. Laslo is survived by two sons, Frank and William Laslo of Courtland, 
and by three daughters, Mrs. Andrew Sipisczky of Courtland, Mrs. Marcus 
Blenkle of Pocatello, Idaho and Mrs. Bettie Fisher of New York.
