ALMA LORRAINE MORRIS LAINE

   SEDLEY - Alma Morris Laine, 85, of Route 1, died Feb. 1, in a Franklin 
nursing home.

   Mrs. Laine, a Southampton County native, was a member of Sedley Baptist 
Church and the widow of Milton C. Laine.

   Survivors include a sister, Mary M. Ellsworth of Franklin.

   A funeral was conducted Wednesday in Purviance Funeral Chapel, Wakefield, 
by the Rev. Douglas Cotter.  Burial was in Rosemont Cemetery.
