[...] At his residence in Southampton County, Va., on Sunday the 24th ult., Mr. Henry Lenow, in the 59th year of his age, after a lingering illness. - Mr. Lenow was a native of Berlin, Prussia, but had been an inhabitant of this country for the last 31 years. By skill in business, and untiring industry, he assed a considerable estate; this, in the latter part of his life, he dispensed with much liberality. As a patron of the cause of Education, especially, his liberal disposition, in his own neighborhood, will long be remembered by a grateful community. - He has left an afflicted and amiable wife, with five truly attached children, to lament, to them, their irreparable loss. - His last moments were characterized by that equanimity of deportment which through life had distinguished his character.
