R.L. Consolco and the Rev. L.P. Bland. Burial was in Ivor Cemetery. Pallbearers were Henry Viccellio, W. Booker Smith, Robert Rawls, John Robert Johnson, Charles Merritt Pulley, Peyton King, Marvis Felts, Thomas Pulley and Robert Eley Steinhilber. Mrs. Lane, 90, died Sunday in Hillcrest Nursing Home, Suffolk, after a long illness. A native of Isle of Wight County, she was a daughter of Stephen and Mrs. Anne Edwards Eley. She was twice widowed first by Wallace Campbell Varner and then by B.H. Lane. She was a graduate of Ryland Institute of Music, Norfolk, and a retired music teacher. She was a member of Ivor United Methodist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Miss Mildred Campbell Varner of Ivor, and a niece, Mrs. Marion Eley Steinhilber of Thalia, Virginia Beach.
