Lamb, Funeral Tomorrow BOYKINS - Funeral services for Mrs. Lillie Frances Lamb will be conducted tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. at the Purviance Funeral Home by the Rev. William Stennette, pastor of Hebron Baptist Church, and the Rev. William Ferguson, pastor of Persons Methodist Church. Burial will be in Capron Cemetery. Mrs. Lamb, 81, died yesterday at 2:30 a.m. at her residence near Boykins after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Maynard Lamb, and daughter of Richard and Mrs. Frances Holland Harris. She was a native of Greenville County, but had resided here for many years. She was a member of Hebron Baptist Church. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. William Taylor of Boykins; three grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. ****************************************************************************** LILLIE FRANCES HARRIS LAMB Mrs. Lillie Frances Lamb, 81*, died at the residence near Boykins at 3:20 o’clock Tuesday morning, February 25, after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Maynard Lamb, and daughter of the late Richard and Mrs. Frances Holland Harris. A native of Greensville County, she had made her home in the Boykins community for many years. She was a member of Hebron Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. William Taylor of Boykins; three grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted from the Purviance Funeral Home in Boykins this (Thursday) afternoon at 2:30 o’clock by Rev. William W. Stennett, pastor of Hebron Baptist Church, and Rev. William S. Ferguson, pastor of Persons Methodist Church. Burial was in Capron Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Allan Harris, Martin Harris, Sherrod Harris, Woodrow Harris Moses Parker and William Parker, all nephews of the deceased. Honorary pallbearers were friends of the family.
