She was a lifelong resident of Franklin and the widow of James Richard Lawrence Sr. She was a member of Franklin Baptist church. Survivors include a daughter, Lenora L. Porter of Virginia Beach; two sons, James Franklin Lawrence of Norfolk and James Richard Lawrence of Arlington; and four grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Franklin Baptist Church by Dr. Michael Plainfield. Burial will be in Poplar Spring Cemetery, with Wright Funeral Home in charge. The body will be taken to her home at Brookside Farm at noon today. Memorial donation may be made to the American Heart Association. [Julia Clarys (McCLENNY; Mrs. James R.
