Mack ****************************************************************************** RUBY WALTON MACK NEWSOMS - A funeral service for Mrs. Ruby W. Mack was conducted Monday at 3:30 p.m. in McDowell Funeral Home, Boykins, by the Rev. John w. Williams of Newsoms Baptist Church. Burial was in Newsoms cemetery. Pallbearers were George Bryant, V.S. Pittman Sr., Fred Worrell, A.L. Clements, George Cook, Eppa Prince, George Davis and Julian Carter. Mrs. Mack, 44, died Sunday morning in a Franklin hospital. A native of Southampton County, she was the wife of Charlie H. Mack and a daughter of Lewis E. and Mrs. Elma Bryant Walton. She was a deputy treasurer of Southampton County and a member of Newsoms Baptist Church. Besides her husband and parents, surviving are a son, Robbie Gene Mack of Newsoms; the three brothers, Linwood E. Walton of Suffolk, Keith D. Walton of Newsoms, and Lloyd A. Walton of Fresno. Calif.
