MOSS CAPRON -- Mrs. Sally Drewry Moss, 81 a retired schoolteacher, died Saturday in a Petersburg hospital. A native of Southampton County, she was a daughter of James E. and Mrs. Adelaide Person Drewry and the widow of Beverly T. Moss. She was a member of Capron United Methodist Church. She was a graduate of Randolph-Macon Woman's College and formerly taught in Maury High School, Norfolk, and Athens College, in Alabama. She also had taught in Dinwiddie and Prince George public schools. Surviving are three sisters, Miss Mary Drewry of Capron, Mrs. Edmond D. Jervey, and Mrs. Hope Fuqua of Surry. A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Drewry family center [sic; cemetery] near Drewryville by Dr. Edward D. Jervey, and the Rev. William McMahan. Purviance Funeral Home, Wakefield, has charge.
