Bobby Tyson. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Courtland. Pallbearers were Sidney Williams, J.C. Williams, S.L. Joyner Jr., Kindred Magette, Henry S. Sadler and Dr. D.C. Williams. A native of Southampton County, she was the daughter of James Robert and Mrs. Mittie Wren Story Williams and the widow of Davis C. Magette Sr. She was a member of Courtland United Methodist Church, Ladies' Bible Class, the Missionary Society, Nottoway River Woman's Club and Southampton Chapter #68 Order of the Eastern Star. She is survived by a daughter Mrs. Dudley Harrell of Emporia; three sons, Robert L. Magette of Smithfield, Raymond W. Magette Jr. of Ahoskie, and D.C. Magette Jr. of Courtland; two sisters Mrs. Virginia W. Joyner of Jarrett, Mrs. Betty W. Wills of Norfolk and eight grandchildren. Grace Rivers (WILLIAMS; Mrs. Davis C.
