HARVEY BURTON McLEMORE JR.

H.B. McLEMORE JR. DIES; SOUTHAMPTON COURT CLERK

   COURTLAND - H. Burton McLemore Jr., 62, clerk of the Southampton County 
Circuit Court since 1934, died Saturday.  He was a past president of the 
Virginia Clerks Association.

   Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Alice Paige Adams McLemore; a son, Harvey B. 
McLemore III of Franklin; a daughter, Mrs. Anita Barnes of Boykins; two 
brothers, Reginald W. McLemore of Richmond and William T. McLemore of Norfolk; 
and a sister, Mrs. Katherine Weede of Atlanta.

   A funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. Monday at the Courtland Methodist 
Church, with burial in Riverside Cemetery.
