McClenny, 77, died Sunday morning in a Williamsburg hospital. A native of Southampton County, she was a daughter of James M. and Mrs. Mary Etta* Rowe McClenny and a member of Sedley Friends Meeting. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. E.R. Rawlings of Hopewell and Mrs. Leona Lowe of Suffolk. A funeral service was conducted Tuesday at 3 p.m. in the chapel of W.J.M. Holland and Sons Funeral Home by the Rev. James A. Coney, minister of Friends and Rev. G.L. Gatling of Black Creek Baptist Church. Burial was in the family cemetery in Sedley. Pallbearers were Moody E. Munford, Morgan C. Munford, James D. McClenny, Jr., L.O. Drake, Sherman Blythe and Aorlie G. Andrews.
