EDDIE BELL DUFF MASON

   Franklin - Funeral services for Eddie Bell Duff Mason, 80, were held Monday 
in Wright Funeral Home by James P. Councill III, branch manager.  Burial was 
in Southampton Memorial Park.

   Mason died Saturday in a Southampton Hospital.

   She was the wife of Charles R. Mason and a native of Rockbridge County. 
She was a member of the Latter Day Saints Church.

   Other survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Lucille Briley and Mrs. Ruby 
Drake of Franklin, Mrs. Mary Ball of Illinois and Mrs. Regina Harris of 
Virginia Beach; four sons, Carl Mason, Wallace Mason and Raymond Mason all of 
Franklin, and Clayton C. Mason of Suffolk; two sisters, Mrs. Lula D. Tyree of 
Carrsville and Mrs. Nellie Birch of Amherst; 22 grandchildren; and 10 great-
grandchildren.
