McKinstry, born March 22, 1849, in Northampton County, N.C., died March 1, 1922, in the home of Mrs. H.F. Knight. In spite of the best medical attention of her specialist in Richmond and doctors in the community and the tender care of her loved ones here, the end came on last Wednesday night, March 1. She is survived by one son, W.F. McKinstry of Boykins, and five daughters as follows: Mrs. H.F. Knight, Boykins; Mrs. B.N. Williams, Pope; Mrs. M.K. Edwards, Rocky Mount, N.C. and Mrs. F.H. Dalton officiating. The active pallbearers were: W.H. Britt, W. Herbert Britt, J.R. Hines, J.R. Person, Fletcher Gray, E.H. Grizzard, T.H. Porter, S.J. Myrick; honorary, Dr. J.M. Bland, J.D.
