McGraw died Saturday, Jan. 19, 1952, at 4:30 P.M. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ethel Anderton McGraw, formerly of Saluda, Va., and one half sister. Funeral and interment services will be held at Newsoms Cemetery, Monday, Jan 21, 1952, at 2:30 P.M. Mr. McGraw is a native of Columbia, S.C., but has lived in Virginia for over forty years. He has endeared himself to all that knew him. He was a devout scholar and a fried to all mankind. His teachings and ideals will be long remembered in this community. For him to live in the hearts of those he leaves behind is not to die. His torch is eternal.
