Matthews, died Tuesday at 12:30 a.m. in a San Antonio, Tex., hospital. She was a native of Franklin, the daughter of the late William M. and Lucille B. Bradshaw. She had been living in Texas the last ten years and was a member of the Asbury Methodist Church in San Antonio. Besides he husband she is survived by one daughter, Helen Lucille Matthews of San Antonio; one brother, W.M. Bradshaw, Jr., of Franklin; two sisters, Mrs. Frank R. Day and Mrs. Lucille B. Chitty, both of Franklin; three half sisters, Mrs. Ray Weatherington of Henderson, N.C., Mrs. Randolph Mixon of San Diego, Calif., and Mrs. Jesse Duff of Carrsville. After a funeral service in San Antonio the body will be sent to the W.J.M. Holland & Sons Funeral Home, where services will be conducted Saturday at 2:30 p.m. by the Rev. Ira D. Hudgins.
