GRACE SOLOMON MAITLAND

Mrs. Grace Solomon Maitland, 82, of Church St., Capron, Va., died Monday night 
in Greenville Memorial Hospital.  She was a native of Louisville, Kentucky and 
the widow of Robert S. Maitland.  She had retired as the educational Secretary 
with the First Baptist Church, of Greensboro, N.C., and was a member of the 
Capron Baptist Church.  Survivors include a daughter, Miriam M. Francis, of 
Capron; a son, Robert S. Maitland, Jr., of Colonial Heights, Va., two sisters, 
Maude S. Curry, of Whiteville, NC and Lucy S. Linthicum, of Atlanta, GA; a 
brother S.H. Solomon, of Port Charlotte, FL; four grandchildren and five great-
grandchildren.  The funeral will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday in the 
Capron Baptist Church by the Revs. Russell Ford and Glen Langston.  Burial 
will be in the Capron Town Cemetery.  The family suggest memorials be made to 
the Capron Baptist Church Organ Fund.  Wright Funeral Home of Franklin has 
charge of arrangements.
