Bailey Maddrey died Thursday at 8:20 p.m. in Raiford Memorial Hospital here after a short illness. A native of Washington, D.C. she lived in Franklin most of life. She was a member of the Episcopal Church. Surviving are two sons Linwood B. Maddrey photographer of the Norfolk Ledger-Star and Harold J. Maddrey of Norfolk; her mother Mrs. E.R. Hager of Washington; one brother Russell Hager of Washington; two sisters Mrs. Joseph Nolan of Washington and Mrs. Richard E. Mower of Virginia Beach; and one granddaughter Donna Lynne Maddrey of Norfolk. The body was taken to W.J.M. Holland & Sons Funeral Home. Funeral services were conducted Saturday at the W.J. M. Holland Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Ira D. Hudgins and the Rev. John Teter of Norfolk. Pallbearers were Edward F. Gilliam, Robert A. Vaughan, K.R. Maddrey, Cecil Maddrey, Dr. C.J.
