Robert D. Fridley. W.J.M. Holland & Sons Funeral Home was in charge. Pallbearers were Edward F. Gilliam, Robert A. Vaughan, Cotton Cobb, Robert E. Collins and Roy Edwards. Maddrey, 72, died Saturday morning in a Hampton hospital. A native of Severn, N.C., he was a son of Leroy Linwood and Mrs. Fannie Bailey Wood Maddrey and the husband of the late Mrs. Ruth Futrell Maddrey. He was a member of High Street Methodist Church and a 52 year retired employee of Seaboard Air Line Railroad. He is survived by a brother, Linwood Bailey Maddrey of Chesapeake; and two nephews.
