LUTHER V. MADDREY

   Branchville - Funeral services for Luther V. Maddrey, 65, were held Monday at 
2 p.m. in McDowell Funeral Home, Boykins. Burial was in Beechwood Cemetery, 
Boykins.

   He died Saturday in Southampton Memorial Hospital.

   He was a native of Northampton County, N.C. and the husband of Mrs. Virginia 
Faison Maddrey.

   He was a retired farmer and a member of Branchville Baptist Church and 
Branchville Ruritan Club.

   Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Shirley M. Horn of Chesapeake and 
Mrs. Janet M. Felts of Ivor; a son, Dennis A. Maddrey of Ivor; and six 
grandchildren.
