Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Courtland, with Wright Funeral Home in charge. Malik died Thursday in Southampton Memorial Hospital. A native of Budapest, Hungary, he was the husband of Mrs. Lina Yeakle Malik. He was a retired Franklin city employee and a member of High Street United Methodist Church and Knights of Pythias. Other survivors include a son, Steve L. Malik, two sisters, Mrs. John Roncinske, and Mrs. Mary Vargo, all of Franklin; and two grandchildren.
