STEVE ANDREW MALIK

   FRANKLIN - A funeral service for Steve Andrew Malik, 77, was held 
Sunday at 3 p.m. in High Street United Methodist Church by the Revs. 
Jeremy Galloway and Robert Fridley.  Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, 
Courtland, with Wright Funeral Home in charge.

   Malik died Thursday in Southampton Memorial Hospital.

   A native of Budapest, Hungary, he was the husband of Mrs. Lina Yeakle 
Malik.  He was a retired Franklin city employee and a member of High 
Street United Methodist Church and Knights of Pythias.

   Other survivors include a son, Steve L. Malik, two sisters, Mrs. John 
Roncinske, and Mrs. Mary Vargo, all of Franklin; and two grandchildren.
