CORA ELIZABETH NORFLEET MELGARD

   FRANKLIN - A funeral for Cora Melgard, 75, was held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. in 
Poplar Spring Cemetery by the Rev. Richard T. Diekmann.  Wright Funeral Home 
was in charge of arrangements.

   Melgard died Sunday in a Norfolk hospital.

   She was the daughter of the late Ethel Howell and Walter H. Norfleet Sr.

   Survivors include a sister, Louise Norfleet Johnson of Franklin; and two 
nieces, Mrs. C. Norfleet Talbott and Ann Norfleet Blythe; and a grandniece all 
of Raleigh, N.C.
