MUMFORD FUNERAL TUESDAY Dies At the Age of 46 Yesterday At His Home Near Zuni Funeral rites for Benjamin Arthur Mumford, 46, who died at his home near Zuni yesterday afternoon, will be conducted tomorrow at 3 p.m. at the Tucker Swamp Baptist Church, in Isle of Wight County, by the Rev. Rufus Corbitt, pastor of the church. Burial will be made in the church cemetery. Active pallbearers will be J.B. Joyner, J.T. Harrison, L.H. Horne, O.T. Rhodes, Rabey Turner, Percy Bradshaw, Lewis Mumford and Dr. Ivan Steele. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Maccabee lodge. Surviving Mr. Mumford are his widow, Josie Joyner Mumford; one daughter, Mrs. Eunice Umphlette; one son, Benjamin A. Mumford, Jr., all of Isle of Wight County; three sisters, Mrs. John Darden, of Carrsville, Mrs. O.E. Bradshaw and Mrs. Staley Uzzell, both Of Zuni, and his stepmother, Mrs. Geneva Mumford, of Isle of Wight County. ****************************************************************************** BENJAMIN A. Survivors include his wife, Josie Joyner Mumford; one daughter Mrs. Eunce Umphlette; one son, Benjamin A. Mumford, Jr. and three sisters, Mrs. John Darden Carrsville; Mrs. O. E. Bradshaw and Mrs. Staley Uzzell, both of Zuni: and his stepmother, Mrs. Geneva Mumford. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'hlock at the Tucker Swamp Baptist Church The Rev. T.
