JETHRO WADE MUNFORD

   Jethro Wade Munford, 51, of 1026 W. Washington Street, died this morning 
after a brief illness.  He was born in Southampton County but made his home 
in Petersburg for the last thirty five years.  He was the son of Mrs. W.R. 
Munford of Colonial Heights and the late Wade R. Munford.  Survivors include 
his mother, his wife, Mrs. Jesse A. Munford of Petersburg; a son the Rev. 
Jethro Wade Munford, Jr. of Athens, Ga.; a sister Mary Williams of Colonial 
Heights; and two brothers, Roland L. Munford and Raymond L. Munford, both of 
Colonial Heights. Funeral arrangements were incomplete this morning but will 
be announced later by J.T. Morris & Son.

Funeral services for Jethro Wade Munford of 1026 W. Washington Street, whose 
death occurred yesterday morning, will be conducted Friday at 2:30 p.m. in the 
chapel of J.T. Morris & Son.  The Rev. James Clements, pastor of Memorial 
Methodist Church, and Rev. L.W. Gammon, pastor of Main Street Baptist Church, 
will officiate.  Burial will be in Sycamore Baptist Church Cemetery, near 
Franklin.
