JOHN CALVIN MONTGOMERY 

   CAPRON - A funeral service for John Calvin Montgomery was conducted 
Thursday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Daniel K. Spell in Echols Funeral Home, 
Emporia.  Burial was in Capron Cemetery.

   Pallbearers were P.A. Pope, John Partridge, Foy Marshall, R.F. Marks Jr., 
E.S. Turner and J.W. Crighton.

   Montgomery, 86, died Monday in a Suffolk hospital.

   Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. J. Harris Stonestreet, Mrs. William 
Marshall, and Mrs. Anthony Bosley of Washington; a son, Franklin R. Montgomery 
of Chesterton, Ind., two sisters, Mrs. Susie Montgomery of Hillsville and Mrs. 
Julia Bowman of Stanley; and a brother, Benjamin Montgomery of Laurel Fork.
