She was the widow of Joseph H. Manry and was 74 years old, being the daughter of the late Byrd and Martha Ann Gray of Southampton County. She is survived by six sons, William L., James H. and Donald C. Manry of Capron, Eddie T. and Joseph L. Manry of Roanoke Rapids, N.C. and John K. Manry of Emporia. There are seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren surviving. Funeral services were held at 3 o'clock Thursday afternoon in the old family burial grounds near Joyner, with the Rev. C.V.
